How to Install Mods

This page is Common for Non Buyers & Buyers both.

For Non BuyersDownload link /admin login/etc wont work, They work only once you Bought mod and confirmed that You are ok with following Steps

Step-by-step guide to get your IBS/CJ mods working in Euro Truck Simulator 2. Follow all phases in order — skipping steps is the most common reason mods don't appear.

⚠️ Read This First — IBS Mods Have 2 Separate Parts

Many users get confused because these files come from different places. All three are required.

1. Def,Base & Paint Files To be installed in ETS2 Mod Manager app (after login) in IBS Launcher

3. Indian Accessory Mod Separate .scs file — download from Indian Accessories page

⚡ Most Common Mistake Installing only the Base mod and wondering why the vehicle isn't in the garage. Always copy DEF files too.

Steps

Phase 1 Download All Required Files

Download Indian Accessory Mod

Required for horns, stickers and all Indian accessories to appear

Download the Indian Accessory .scs file from the dedicated page. This is needed for all IBS/CJ mods.

Download ETS2 Mod Manager App

The installer app that handles Base & Paint files

Download the Mod Manager from the ETS2 Mod Manager page. You'll need this to install Base and Paint files.

Phase 2 Copy Files to ETS2 Mod Folder

Copy Indian Accessory File to ETS2 Mod Folder

Same folder as DEF files

Paste the Indian Accessory .scs file into the same mod folder:

C:\Users\YourName\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod

Phase 3 Set Up the Mod Manager App

Install & Register in the Mod Manager

Right-click → Run as Administrator. Pause antivirus during install.

Run the installer as Administrator. Re-enable antivirus after.
Register using your Gmail — the app auto-generates your password from your email.

Note: Your App Login password is different from your IBS Gaming Launcher login. The app creates the App Login password automatically.

Use the separate ID & password given by admin — not your App login

Inside the Mod Manager app, there is a section called IBS Gaming Launcher. Log in there using the ID and password that admin provides you separately (not your registration password).

⚠️ Two different logins exist:
• App Registration login — you create this, password is auto-generated from email
• IBS Gaming Launcher login — admin gives you this separately

Install Your Purchased Mods from the App

No activation key needed — just find your mod and install directly

Find your purchased mod(s) in the list inside the app.
The key activation section has been removed — install directly.
Install one mod at a time.

Click "Load Mods" Before Launching ETS2

Keep the Mod Manager window open while playing

Click LOAD MODS in the app. You should see:

Service Status: Running
ETS2 Status: Not running (until you launch the game)

Do not close the Mod Manager while playing.

Phase 4 In-Game Mod Order

Set the Correct Mod Load Order in ETS2

Top of the list = highest priority. Follow this order.

In ETS2 Mod Manager, set the order from top to bottom like this:

1Accessory Mod (Indian Accessories)

2[DEF] Fix file (if included)

3[PAINT] file

4[BASE] file

5[DEF] file

Before DMing Admin — Check These First

Most issues are caused by one of these mistakes

App Login ≠ Launcher Login — These are two separate passwords. Don't mix them up.
DEF files not copied — Check that your .scs DEF files are in the ETS2 mod folder.
Antivirus blocking app — Pause AV only during install. Re-enable after.
Wrong Gmail for Drive access — The email used here must match the Google account in Drive.
Game crash — Remove all recently added mods and test one by one.
